"Profiling"  July 26th

Picture
Knowing how you make use of the space given on the page, the form and control you exert into and onto the paper, and the movement deployed into creating the "pen stroke on paper" tells a lot about who you are.  Its Handwriting Analysis.  Combine this with other tools like a basic background in psychology, behavior analysis, questioned document examination, statement analysis, and you have the excellent background for a behavioral profiler.  Join us for this "Hands-on" learning adventure.

getting back to work

Picture
A week ago today, I didn't even know my overgrown puppy, Otie, was ill.  I lost him two days ago to cancer.  He showed signs something was terribly wrong only days before he died.

I will miss him always.  He was my shadow.  My motivator.  My buddy.  I have been devastated by is loss.  The smartest, sweetest,

and gentlest 90 lb. lap dog and snuggle buddy there ever was, and I thank God for the time he entrusted me with this loving creature.

But, I have work to do.  I have AHAF chapters to coordinate, NADE and AAHA info to review, a class to finish, meetings to prepare for, demonstrations to conduct, three separate Powerpoint presentations to create and an article to write.

Its just really, really hard to get back into it all.

Time really flies.
  • My son is now 4 years older than I am.
  • I have been out of high school 38 years as of yesterday, yet I remember most of it (Ha Ha).
  • I have a birthday approaching to validate that I am old.
  • I am now writing 4 articles at the same time, and have been asked to do a 5th.  This old girl needs to catch up.

Working on a brand new project:  "Autographs & Signatures."

Considering the decline of cursive writing, I thought this would be an excellent topic of consideration.  Not just for Handwriting Analysis, but for a whole list of fields:
  • Autograph Collectors and Authenticators
  • Legal Signatures in Questioned Documents
  • Forgeries
  • Public Relations
  • Personal Image Coaches
  • Promotional Agencies
  • Corporate Logo Designers
  • Sports Figures, Comedians and Celebrities that give their autographs and how the industry has changed.

I am getting some really great materials from professionals in these fields.  This will be published through Kindle.  The Anthology will raise awareness for the Campaign for Cursive movement.  For more details, visit www.cursiveiscool.com
